South Kesteven District Council is set to consult on a rise in council tax for next year,
the maximum there allowed as a district without a referendum. A proposed increase of 2.99% means a rise of £5.66 a year for a Band D property. That consultation launches on the same day as Rutland's next Monday. Residents are also expected to see a rise in the charge by Lincolnshire County Council too.
