Stamford Shakespeare Company 2021 season

Actors at Stamford’s Shakespeare company have started rehearsing ahead of this year’s performances. The company is hoping to put on a full summer season, but with a vastly reduced audience each day, in order to comply with social distancing requirements.

Company Chair Caroline Stephenson told Rutland and Stamford Sound that the reintroduction of the rule of six means they can finally start rehearsals. The 2021 season is due to run from 8 June until 28 August and will feature Love’s Labour’s Lost by William Shakespeare, The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde and Humble Boy by Charlotte Jones. The box office opens on 16 April. For more information visit: https://stamfordshakespeare.co.uk/
